KAITEKI is “a sustainable condition that is comfortable for people, society, and the Earth,
transcending time and generations.” The KAITEKI Institute was established in 2009 as a think tank and global research institute of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation with the aim of realizing KAITEKI in this world.
The institute is focused on finding solutions to various 21st century challenges, and is working in areas such as the environment, energy, water and food, and healthcare.
We are working in 3 main research areas to solve global scale problems.
