The KAITEKI Institute (TKI) has signed a sponsorship contract for the development of sports prosthetics with amputee short distance runner Kaede Maegawa.
The period of the contract is from April 2016 for five years. TKI will be financially supporting Ms. Maegawa's training and competition in races, while Ms. Maegawa will be using sports prosthetics provided by TKI and provide feedback regarding its wear as well as advice for product development. TKI has been working on the development of sports prosthetics with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) since June 2015.
